Behavior-Based Safety (BBS): Our HOME for Safer Work
At Supreme Plant Services, safety is a shared responsibility built on transparency, communication, and trust. Our multi-level peer review process actively involves workers, supervisors, and management in identifying and addressing potential risks—before they lead to incidents.
Every SPS employee is empowered with Stop Work Authority and is fully trained to raise concerns without fear of retaliation, regardless of role or rank. Speaking up isn’t just encouraged—it’s expected.
Our BBS program is known as HOME: Honest Observations Mentoring Everyone. This philosophy promotes open, honest dialogue across all levels of the team, not to assign blame, but to proactively recognize and address conditions that could lead to failure or injury.
We treat every observation as a learning opportunity—fueling improvement both at the job site and across our organization. These insights directly shape our toolbox talks and guide topics for formal safety meetings, reinforcing a culture of continuous growth and accountability.
Short Service Worker (SSW) Program
At Supreme Plant Services, we recognize that retaining experienced craftworkers is one of the most effective ways to reduce short service worker exposure on job sites. Consistency and experience contribute directly to a safer, more efficient workforce.
To support the integration of new team members, we’ve established a structured mentoring process that pairs each short service worker with a seasoned, highly skilled SPS craftworker. This one-on-one guidance ensures hands-on training, safety reinforcement, and alignment with both SPS standards and customer-specific requirements.
Through close supervision and real-time mentorship, our SSW program helps build competence, confidence, and strong safety habits from day one—ensuring success for the worker, the crew, and the company as a whole.
